Sync with Google calendar as out of the office events

At the moment, Appogee Leave has a workaround so that you can force leave requests to synchronise with Google Calendar to appear in the body of your calendar, blocking out your daily hours rather than as an all day event.

It would be great if you set Appogee to do this as a configuration setting, but also to synchronised as an 'out of office' event in Google calendar so that it automatically declines other invites in your calendar on that day

The out of office event part of this feature suggestion is impossible at the moment (until Google update the API), so if this could be considered as 2 separate suggestions:
to configure leave requests to synchronise with Google calendar to appear in the body of the calendar, blocking out your daily hours rather than as an all day event.
Once Google has updated the API, to be able to create out of office events

Sync with Google calendar as out of the office events
