About
Objectives can be created and tracked in the Goals section of Appogee HR. Goals can be categorised as Company, Team or Personal with a variety of access settings. It's possible to set Goals to link to one another and show in a hierarchy or alignment view, or equally, you can set up Goals to be private between a manager & employee, for example.
You can track your progress of Goals by updating the Key Results - these are measures that have been put in place to help you achieve the objective.
Goal Pages
The main Goals page is split into the following headings: Approved, Starred, Alignment and Drafts. Goal Managers will also see Archived Goals on this menu.
Approved Goals
The Approved Goals page shows you all approved Goals that you have access to. You can change the filters at the top to show you the different Goal categories, and statuses, as well as switching between Goals you collaborate on, or Goals you just have visibility of.
In the top left of each Goal there is a star icon, you can click this to favourite specific Goals that are important to you, which will then show on the Starred page.
Starred Goals
Starred Goals are ones that are important to you, or Goals that you want quick access to.
By clicking the Star icon in the top left of each Goal card, you can select your favourites.
Alignment View
When you set up Goals, you can choose to align them to other Goals, to show that the work and activities on different Goals are linked.
The Goal Alignment page shows you how your Goals are linked.
Drafts
Goals that have not yet been published can be found in the Draft Goals page. From here, you should edit your Key Results and set up any tasks, if required. Once the Goal has been completed you will be able to submit it for approval, or publish it straight away, depending on the Approval settings.
