Ability to set an approval flow for an individual

It would be useful to be able to override the approval flow for an individual so that they can belong in a team but their leave be approved by someone who isn't the manager.

In our organisation we have a concept of line managers and team managers who are different, at the moment we have a large number of teams to accommodate this situation as a work-around but it would be good to consolidate this so the teams in Appogee HR are a reflection of the teams in the company.
