Holiday self approval setting
Hi - In common with a growing number of companies we do not require teams to get management approval for their holidays. In fact we don't really have managers in the traditional sense. It would be great if there was a setting in Appogee which allowed us to setup team members to be able to self approve their holidays.
I know there is a way around this with everyone being an approver for their team but it is a bit untidy in practice.
We have now implemented a feature within the Leave Type to select whether it requires approval or not. For organisations like yours, you can set up all leave types to not require approval. Once done, leave requests will automatically populate in the calendar as approved.
To set this up, just go to Process Config > Leave Types > Select a Leave Type > untick the relevant box.
