Disable requirement to have leave approved

Some staff (i.e. Directors) don't need to have their leave approved but at least one level of approval is required in the UI. I'd like to be able to turn off approval...

Thank you for your feature suggestion.
We have now extended our backfill feature to work on leave, sickness and toil.
You may wish to add the directors on the system with a manager role (Team Manager or HR Manager), so that they can backfill their own requests.
