What is a Work Profile?
A Work Profile is a configuration which determines the Leave & Sickness allocation and Leave & Sickness settings for a user or groups of users. It defines the working and non-working hours for employees, whether their Leave is accrued or given annually and whether they are entitled to Carry Over and Leave Allowance.
Your employees may have different terms of employment, which means they are entitled to different Leave Allowances. In Appogee Leave, you can set up a Work Profile for each condition of employment in order to satisfy these differences. There are no limits to the number of Work Profiles you have and no limits to the number of employees in each Work Profile.
Deleting a Work Profile
You can delete unwanted or unused Work Profiles provided they have no employees still associated with them.
Go to Leave > Admin & Config > Work Profiles and select the Work Profile you wish to delete.
Head to the Employee tab to check there are no users still associated with it. If there is, you will need to change the Employees' Work Profiles. In a new tab, go to Organisation > Employees > select the Employee and use the pencil to change the Work Profile. More info here: How do I change an Employee's Work Profile?
Back in your Work Profiles page, you will see a Delete icon in the top right corner, click this to delete the Work Profile.
Restoring a Work Profile
Deleted Work Profiles will show if you toggle the view, this will allow you to restore previously deleted Work Profiles if you need.
Go to Leave > Admin & Config > Work Profiles and change the view from Active to Deleted.
Click the Restore button on the right-hand side of the Work Profile you wish to restore.
