Why am I getting an 'invalid employee data' error message?

You may receive an error message when creating a user in Xero from Appogee HR. During the sync between Appogee HR and Xero, there may be an instance where the employee is not found in Xero, you can create the employee from the data you have in Appogee HR, however the data has to be an exact match. 

You may receive an Invalid Employee Data error message, stating that the Gender on the Employee Profile must be either Male or Female.

Appogee HR allows you to configure your own genders, however, Xero is configured to only allow two, this is due to the set up of Xero to be inline with UK HMRC requirements for gender. Please ensure the gender of your employee is set to Male or Female.
