Why can't I save my table? 

Every table needs one mandatory field configured, this is to prevent blank entries being entered that could skew the reported data. 


Is it possible to restrict access for the restricted roles to see just certain employees? 

It's not currently possible to allow access for restricted roles to see just certain employee's data. The fields that you give access to will be viewable on all employee profiles for that role.
