Ability to centrally manage assets library

Currently assets only exist on person's profile. It is easy to assign an asset to a person but often it involves deleting an asset from personal profile and re-create it on another person's profile if it's a laptop loan or mobile phone loan. 

It would be great to be able to create an Asset Library that could host a reusable assets with loan / assignment history.
