Generating a report from the system which shows 'Time taken to date'

Hi, is there any way to get a report from the system which shows 'Time taken to date'? For example, I have booked all my time for the year up to and beyond next Christmas, but how do I easily see how much holiday has been taken to date, and not just what has been booked?
This is now implemented in our Allowances data export.
There is now remaining balance fields shown, as well as pending and taken requests fields.
