What are the record/company document notification placeholders?

Employee Record / Company Document Notification Placeholders

You can include dynamic text in the notification email messages triggered from Employee Records or Company Documents. Each placeholder must be wrapped in square brackets.

For example: The screen below uses placeholders for owner.name and document.name in the notification email string:

Hi [owner.name], document [document.name] has been fully acknowledged.

So now, when a document has been fully acknowledged the document owner will get a clear email explaining which document has been fully acknowledge and understand it is a message specifically for them rather than a generic system message.

The following placeholders are available:

name - The name of the Employee Record / Company Document

url - The URL of the Employee Record / Company Document

owner.name - If the record/document has an owner, the name of the owner.

owner.email - If the record/document has an owner, the email address of the owner.

next_review_date - If the record/document has a next review date, the next review date of the record/document.

acknowledged_by.name - For acknowledgement notifications, the name of the employee profile that represents the user who acknowledged the record/document.

acknowledged_by.email - For acknowledgement notifications, the email address of the employee profile that represents the user who acknowledged the record/document.
